any reviews on Sony Bravia model KDL40Ex621 ?

Im looking to buy my 1st hdtv. Cant find any reviews, comments, etc for model KDL40EX621 anywhere on the internet. Its priced at $798 and dont want to buy junk. Anyone with any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

I looked around and in Canada it's 1199 at furtureshop. It appear to be 100 bucks more at Sam's club.

The only downside to this model is a lack of reviews. But the price looks right and I think it has a Video on Demand (internet?) feature.

its 798. at Sams here in NY state.. and yes, it does have access to netflix, and i assume internet etc.... Im more interested in the dimensions personally because I have an entertainment cabinet I cant get rid of, nor do I want to buy a new one, so these dimensions fit the one I have. But, again, I dont want to buy a headache if possible, Im so use to getting on the internet and finding reviews, but, in this case there are none... Do you know if this is a newly released model?? Thanks again.

I can't answer your post. Very odd.

I went to sony's web page and could not find this model. This is either it's very new or was a "special" just for someone like Sam's, Walmart or such.

The specs I saw were nice enough. And if it's LED backlit then I have little to write if it looks great.

HOWEVER. DO NOT GET YOUR HOPES too high about those internet apps. Those apps are maintained by Netflix and Hulu and so on. If you check the Samsung forum (very active here) you find folk are constantly finding a flaw or "it's always something" with these apps.

If you can get past that and the picture is great then all that's left is price and warranty.
